Guess what - we got each other's tags! I think your black and white tag is gorgeous and fits in wonderfully! If you want to see how it looks combined with the others you can see it here: http://katherineuhrig.blogspot.com/2011/07/my-birdsong-tag-book-arrived.htmlklulesshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15428106744407145272noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5973638790675749438.post-58207603249311646242011-07-28T15:04:12.643-05:002011-07-28T15:04:12.643-05:00Hi. I noticed when we moved into this house (well I actually already knew, but getting the furniture outside in the sunlight really enforced it!!) that my furniture needed some love! I guess after 5 kids, a million other kids that came by our house and a lot of animals, that it was only natural. I had no problem painting it. But really, Annie is not so fond. She thinks one or two pieces if fine. I am NOT doing the whole house, but to hear her talk I am. I find it funny! I will be anxious to see the buffet you are doing. The chalk paint is expensive, but I like to factor in my time and the fact that I don't have to sand or prime. That is worth the $$ for me! Also, I checked out the web site you directed me to. I think I remember seeing it when they first moved into the house. ($$$). I have bookmarked it and love it. I put a big old map up in my (non)formal living room. I love it. But others have questioned me. (I guess Annie comes by it naturally!!) One more thing. I was looking at all your tags, and I went back up to Kansas two weekends ago and I did a big peacock wedding for a friend. It was SO pretty! Then ran a thin line of glue onto the inside edge. Added a thin strip of net tulle and the rolled it up scruntching and pinching to form a rose. Then I dunked them in pale scarlet rit dye...then into cooled coffee and then back into the rit dye. Then dried in the oven on a sheet pan for about 30 minutes at 200. So easy! Let me know if you make some. I am putting them on a crown.<br />XO~HopeHopehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03700518766672396294noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5973638790675749438.post-39544971454936029082011-07-27T20:04:36.162-05:002011-07-27T20:04:36.162-05:00Gorgeous!
