Creations for a Artist Trading Coin Valentine Swap

Jackie of Good Grief Girdie organized a Valentine artist trading coin swap. I've swapped ATCs several times but had never seen the coins so decided to give it a try. There was something about creating a circular piece that I really enjoyed. These are 4-inch circles so there was a good amount of space to work with.

It was a good opportunity to use treasured scraps of paper and embellishments. I used washi tape, and rub-ons - something I hadn't used in years. I also did a little embossing.

Naturally the one with the little dog is my favorite but I like them all. I found a whole Valentine-themed Crate Paper pack in my stash and used the paper for some of the backgrounds. The Kissing Booth tag came from that pack, as did the XOXO banner.

Hope you've enjoyed seeing my latest efforts. I'll show the coins I receive when they arrive. Yesterday I attended a fun class and will have that to share soon, as well what I received from a January ATC swap.

  1. It's been a while since I've done the ATC swaps. But they are always a fun project. I really love the new round Coin idea. You have a fun variety of them. Love all the unique ideas you shared. And using up stash is a real plus. Thanks for sharing.

  2. Those a fun! I've made them in the 2.5 size and like the idea of a bigger size. Are you on instagram?
